Redefines the concept of energy Internet as micro network, local area network (LAN), metropolitan area network or wide area network (WAN) composed by one or multi sources of energy instead of just smart grid. Elaborates the characteristics of energy Internet, and considers that the remarkable characteristics of energy Internet are integration of multi-energy network, intercourse of different micro network and solution of the problems about time, space, type and price asymmetric in energy utilization. Points out the problems of future energy Internet needed to be solved.
